On Friday, December 21, I observed in the morning, a light morph
Rough-legged Hawk at the intersection of New Germany Rd and Chestnut Ridge
Rd in Garrett, Co. It was pestered by a male Northern Harrier. Along Hare
Hollow Rd and Foxtown Rd I found two flocks of Horned Larks numbering about
75 in total.  Later in the day I was fortunate enough to see the Northern
Shrike found by Mikey Lutmerding and Jim Stasz on Mosser Rd, near Garrett
College. It was a lifer for me.
