Hi all --

Just in (rather wet!) from doing the Sugarloaf CBC -- my sector is #6 but I also do the fields for sector 5. We had some good birds this year:

Sector 6: EVENING GROSBEAK ! (1 only, initially heard calling and then seen perched, on Monocacy Bottom Road).

MARSH WREN (2) -- inside Lilypons --well seen by Paul O'Brien, who ID'd them as western/ interior race birds (a potential split).

Sector 6 also had large numbers of both Tree (in Lilypons) and White-crowned Sparrows (the latter is several locations), as well as lingering Fox and
Chipping.

Sector 5: LAPLAND LONGSPUR (8 at least, including some brightly colored individuals) in with Horned Larks on north side Oland Road.
