Jim Stasz, Zach Baer, and myself covered the Fairmont WMA section of the Crisfield CBC. Highlights from Fairmont:

Eared Grebe -- In the cut that parallels the town of Rumbley
Semipalmated Plovers -- Five birds on the sand spit across from Rumbley
Snow Geese -- Six birds flying with Canadas (Zach only)
Golden Eagle -- Flying north
Gannet -- 48 mostly sitting on the water
Redhead -- A flock of 70 seen flying past Rumbley
Sedge Wren -- Two (Stasz only) early morning in the marsh before Rumbley
Seaside Sparrow -- One bird (Stasz only) early morning in the marsh before Rumbley
Nelson's Sparrow -- flushed from the western dike Fairmont WMA
Long-billed Dowitcher -- Five birds in the eastern dike

The next day Jim Stasz and myself covered North Assateague from the State Park to the inlet. Highlights from North Assateague.

Evening Grosbeak -- Fly-by (Stasz only)
Common Eider -- south side of the jetty
Junco -- two birds in the scrub of the north woods (Brighton only)
White-throats -- three birds in the scrub of the north woods (Brighton only)
Cardinal -- two birds in the scrub of the north woods (Brighton only)
Nelson's Sparrow -- one bird bayside marsh
Salt-marsh Sparrow -- one bird bay side marsh
Ipswich Sparrow numbers were way down possibly because there was not enough people to really cover the area -- 22 birds seen.
Snow Bunting -- 20 birds (Stasz only)
