This is incorrect.  I obtained at 2GB nano from BirdJam in March.  It works 
just fine.  Alas, the 2 GB model is no longer available, except as 
"reconditioned."  But a a price much less than I paid.  And the plug in 
speaker unit is compact and easy to use.

You can also buy a physical copy of BirdJams (and both sets of Stokes) from 
One Good Tern in Alexandria, VA. It's a great system and very easy to use 
(and set up yourself), but yes, you do need an I-pod larger than a Nano...
