All:

I certainly echo what was said before about the BirdJam software
being easy to use and very effective at producing iPod playlists. I
purchased a downloadable version of BirdJam's software from their
site and then ripped the content of the Stokes disks (which I already
owned) under the control of the BirdJam software.

I was given a 4 Gigabyte iPod Nano for Christmas and it is more than
capacious enough to accommodate both Eastern and Western Stokes bird
songs and calls. In fact, there is over 3 Gigs left for music and
other stuff -- like more bird songs and calls! So you don't
necessarily need a huge capacity iPod.
