Ah yes... beatles. People mistakenly believe that beatles small and
quiet bugs. Not true, they've got some songs and calls that most
everyone has heard at one time or another.
I once tried to call in a flock of beatles here in Annapolis. I was
'beatling' (not birding) down a Long and Winding Road (at the
intersection of Penny Lane and Blue Jay Way). I was there all morning
trying to call in a flock of beatles. No Reply. I Should Have Known
Better. The beatles never showed and I just looked like a Fool on the
Hill.
For all of my pishing and beatles immitations, the best I could do was
a Blackbird. And believe me, I looked Here, There and Everywhere.
I'm So Tired of these bad song puns.
In all seriousness, I have loaded the Stokes CD's with the BIRDJAMS on
my iPhone. Finding a song takes seconds. It's not too loud. A photo
shows up along with the song. And if it's a rarity, I can use my
iPhone to send an email to MDOSPREY in mere seconds. I can't say
enough about the iPhone when it comes to birding in the field.
Now all I need are some great birds. For now, I've got to GET BACK to work.
Happy New Year!

The CD is about 108 MB and I will glady send anyone a copy that wants it. My I-pod is one of thenew ones (80GB), and so i have other stuff on it besides bird calls (All Beatles group and solo).
