Hey Jeff, et al.
That clip is from the BBC's Daylight Robbery II. That show also
featured flying squirrels coming to birdfeeders. To make a long story
short ... Barbara and I used up 90 seconds of our "15 minutes of
fame" because we appeared in that show! The BBC came to our house and
filmed us filling up our suet feeder on the tree trunk and then later
caught one of our squirrels flying in at night for a suet treat!
The show premiered on the BBC in 1995. At the time I had people
working for me in London and one Monday, I came in to my office here
in MD and they called and exclaimed, "Phil, we saw you on TV last
night!!!" They had no idea until they saw the show. Later, a friend
of my wife's who was working on a two-year assignment in Australia
dropped us a note that she had seen us on TV, too.
Ah, Andy Worhol, fame is so fleeting ...
Phil
BTW, I tell people that part of my other "15 minutes of fame" was
when I served as a simulated Russian Cosmonaut for NASA. That is true
... but it's a "share it over a beer" story ...
