Black Hills Reg. Park/Route 121 Bridge

All,
    The following species of waterfowl were viewable from the Route 121 bridge over Little Seneca Lake in Germantown at one o'clock this afternoon. All species were present in good numbers except as indicated.

    Mute Swan (1)
    Tundra Swan (a likely family of 2 adults and 1 juvenile)
    Canada Goose
    Mallard
    American Wigeon
    Ring-necked Duck
    Canvasback (13)
    Bufflehead
    Common Merganser (3 females)
    Hooded Merganser (3)
    Ruddy Duck
    Horned Grebe (1)
    Pied-billed Grebe (8 together)
    American Coot

    At the boat ramp at Black Hills Regional Park there were three Green-winged Teal and one male Canvasback in addition to more Canada Geese, Mallards, Ring-necked Ducks, Buffledheads, one Pied-billed Grebe and several domestic geese. At the feeders at the vistors center at this park were Tufted Titmouse, White-throated Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, American Goldfinch, House Finch and Mourning Dove but no Purple Finch or Pine Siskin.
