Lisa and I had four Wilson's Snipe at the upper end of Cash Lake at the
Patuxent Refuge South Tract late this morning. There almost certainly more
hidden thereabouts.

Also seen on and around the lake:

   Killdeer (2)
   Hermit Thursh (2)
   Golden-Crowned Kinglet
   Ring-Necked Duck (roughly 40)
   Canada Goose (large #s)

Earlier, a visit to Lake Artemesia yielded these highlights:

   Ring-Necked Duck
   Pied-Billed Grebe (6)
   American Coot (10+)
   Hooded Merganser (4)
   Ruddy Duck
   CACKLING GOOSE (1)
   Canada Goose
   Cooper's Hawk
   Red-Shouldered Hawk
   Belted Kingfisher
   Eastern Towhee (calling)
   White-Throated Sparrow
   Song Sparrow
   Fish Crow
   Northern Flicker

All in all, we pulled in 40 species from the two locations...
   Good Birding!
