At about 8 AM today at Point Lookout, the Eared Grebe was still in the same
general area (just to the north of the boat ramp, i.e. where the Smith
Island ferry docks), but no sign of the King Eider. Lots of LT Ducks,
Common Goldeneyes and Buffleheads plus a scattering of Greater Scaup, Black
and Surf Scoters, RB Mergansers and a single Common Loon and Ruddy Duck.

I had the opportunity to bird in the Pt. Lookout area today, and
successfully saw (and photographed) the previously reported Eared Grebe (1,
in the pond by the boat ramp) and King Eider (it was about 1/4 m south of
the fishing pier).

Thanks to the finders...
