Hi all due to the Snow yesterday 1 - 24 - 08 I was able to leave work early . We had about 1 inch but roads were not to bad so I decided to look for some field Birds pushed to the roadsides in QA and Caroline Counties and met with good luck .

Bloomingdale Road Queenstown

Horned Larks 100 too far away and on the move to sort anything else out in the flock
American Pipits 35
Savannah Sparrow 1

Rt 309 from 213 to near Rt 404 Centerville to Queen Anne - lots of traffic scaring up the birds but did see

Horned Larks several
American Pipits 40

Greenville Rd near Ruthsburg

Red Tailed Hawk 1
Northern Harrier 1 adult male
Killdeer 12

Rolling Bridge Road Near Rt 301 Centreville

Mallard 12
Horned Lark 100 carefully sorting through them yielded only Larks

Mason Branch Rd near Ridgely in Caroline County
Talbot County Bird Club had a trip there on the Jan 20 had no luck finding many
Larks much less LONGSPURS but today was different

Horned Larks 200
LAPLAND LONGSPURS 10
