While driving home from work on Oxford Road this evening a Red-shouldered Hawk was sitting on the telephone wires just west of Llandaff Road. In my opinion Talbot County is the hardest county in the state for Red-shouldered Hawk so it is always exciting to see one. I believe it is only my fifth sighting since I have been keeping track of such things. There were also two drake Hooded Mergansers in Tripp's Creek along Oxford Road.
