I arrived early at the site at about 7:10. The crossbill arrived at about 7:17 in
the trees above the feeders and scratched and preened for about 8 minuets
until being disturbed by a squirel. As I looked down from the scope a red fox
ran in front of me about 30 feet away and proceeded through the woods to
the north. The crossbill came to the feerer about 3 minuets later and stayed
for a short period . I was on my way home by 7:30. Hooray!
