Nico,
All of the species have been found many times in Maryland. For Dovekie I have about 50 records in my database with a high of 759 on Dec. 30, 1978, a pelagic trip; only four records away from the coast. For Eared Grebe there are about 100 records, 1-3 birds each and mostly on the Coastal Plain. For White-winged Crossbill there are about 160 records all over the state with a high of 140 in Baltimore County on Feb. 13, 1982. For Painted Bunting there are about 30 records, all single birds, mostly at feeders, and all but four on the Coastal Plain.
