I have had more than the usual Downy WPs in the yard this winter.  I  guess 
it is getting close enough to spring that they are getting  territorial.  Two 
males were fighting over one of the suet feeders when one  pecked the others 
brains out!  I checked the corpse, it is right below the  feeder with the back 
of its skull smashed and the long black-tipped tongue  hanging out.
