In a message dated 2/13/2008 4:10:26 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,  
 writes:

Two  
males were fighting over one of the suet feeders when one  pecked the  others 
brains out!  I checked the corpse, it is right below the   feeder with the 
back 
of its skull smashed and the long black-tipped  tongue  hanging out.



I've never heard of this behavior. Is this common, anyone?
