The MD/DCRC database (online on our web page) stopped tracking
Northern Shrikes when we took it off the review list in 2001,
however, late dates for this species prior to this time, in addition
to the two you located, are (in reverse chronological order) ...
03/31/1860 DC (arrived on 12/01/1859)
03/23/1996 MD/Anne Arundel Co (arrived on 01/14/1996)
03/10/1951 MD/Worcester Co (arrived on 03/05/1951)
03/08/1991 MD/Frederick Co (arrived on 01/20/1991)
03/07/1951 MD/Washington Co (one day wonder)
03/01/2001 MD/St. Mary's Co (arrived 01/29/2001
Those (above) were birds that stayed into March.
There are twelve MD/DCRC database entries for reports or records of
birds that were seen in February.
