Took a walk along the river above Great Falls this afternoon. Noticed that
there was an eagle sitting low in the nest on Conn island. further  up
river, just below River Bend Park on the Virginia side, was another perched
eagle and also 9 Tundra swans, both adults and juveniles, swimming and
feeding in the Potomac. Getting to be that time of year!
