This morning from about 9am-12pm at the South Tract of the Patuxent
Research Refuge (where the National Wildlife Visitor Center is located) I
searched for the Northern Shrike with no luck. Here's what I did see/hear:

Great Blue Heron
Canada Goose
Wood Duck
American Black Duck
Mallard
Ring-necked Duck
Bald Eable (imm)
Red-tailed Hawk
Wilson's Snipe
Mourning Dove
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Nothern Flicker
Pileated Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
White-breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Wren
American Robin
Northern Mockingbird
European Starling
Song Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
Red-winged Blackbird
Common Grackle
American Goldfinch
