We searched for the Redpolls for about an hour between roughly 3 and 4pm on
Saturday afternoon, without luck.

As a consolation, I found two Green-winged Teal feeding at the far side of the
pond (new County bird!). Ft Smallword also held mass flocks of Robins and
blackbirds, the latter being mostly common grackles, with a few cowbirds and
red-wings mixed in.

Good birding!
