Hello, all.

This morning I and two other birders kept vigil for the White-winged Crossbill at Noah Kahn's feeders. But the bird did not show, at least not during the time I was there, from 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. We did see an abundance of other birds either at the feeders or in the area:

Mourning Doves
Downy Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
House Finch
American Goldfinch
House Sparrow

And flying by: a Red-shouldered Hawk and a Turkey Vulture.

Many thanks, Noah, for keeping the feeders well-stocked and for your updates! A number of folks stopped to ask what we were looking for, and we were able to enlighten them a bit about a rare bird.
