Maryland Bird Photographers Please Note:

I checked with Karen Morley about her message below, which says "... please
send them to me on a single disk ...".

This is a new option, allowing as many photos on one CD as will fit, and it
replaces the part of the Atlas Contest Rules that said "... one image per CD
..."

The rest of the rules that she posted today still apply.

I am providing assistance to Karen with the sorting and cataloging of photo
files - multiple files on one CD will not be a problem.

Hi all, I am sorry that we have not been able to get the new submission
process finalized and ready to distribute.  And I know that the Feb. 29
deadline is rapidly approaching.  So if you have not yet submitted your
photos, please send them to me on a single disk following the current
formating rules and including the required information on a separate sheet
of paper.  The processing team will figure out how to catalog everything for
the judges.  You can review the current rules on the MOS website.  

Furthermmore, In the event that we do not receive a photo of some species,
especially the harder to photograph ones, we will be opening up the contest
again for those particular species.   By that time we will have the new
streamlined submission process ready to go.  

Again, I am sorry for the delay.....this whole process has been much more
complicated than anyone anticipated.  Thanks for your patience, Karen
