Hi all,

I birded around Garrett this afternoon, and had some nice surprises.  The first came at Savage Reservoir where there were 2 WOOD DUCKS among some other species in the limited open water above the dam, I then headed off to the Oakland area.   At Mountain Lake, I spotted a SANDHILL CRANE and CACKLING GOOSE among all the other nice birds there.  A more or less complete list follows:
