The Talbot Bird Club, led by Wayne Bell, visited Ocean City on March 2.
A full report will come later, but for the sake of timely reporting this
note is provided. The Iceland Gull was seen briefly around 8:30 at the east
end of the jetty. After a few minutes of our viewing, the bird picked up
and flew upstream over the channel before disappearing somewhere to our
west.
The Eared Grebe provided great and close views from the seawall along
32nd Street just west of Daybreak Ave. This bird was seen around 11:30.
Numerous Horned Grebes were present for easy and convenient comparisons.
