At 6:30 this moring - Juncos trilling along with singing Song Sparrows,
Carolina Wrens, Tufted Titmice, Red-winged Blackbirds, Blue Jays, Starlings
and a small V of Canada Geese honking and flying northward with a purpose
... the south wind was at their back. Later in the morning, a high flying
flock of Snow Geese was also heading north. The Geese may have been just
moving around, but they were moving North.
A reminder about another sign of spring: Clocks spring forward this Sunday,
March 9, at 2:00 am.
