Hi all just a quick note to report that this morning upon arrival at the Wye Research Center near Queenstown Md there was a flock of about 60 Blackbirds in a mixed flock on the lawn. They worked their way closer to where I happened to be working . At first I thought them to be redwings or Cowbirds but they turned out to be mostly Rusty Blackbirds numbers are a rough guess as I was working and could not take the proper time to count them .
