Leaving Edgewood this afternoon, I rolled my windows down figuring today was
the day. Sure enough. The liquidy musings of a FOY Eastern Meadowlark
were heard along the Edgewood airstrip. And as usual, it was sitting up on the
fence. Also, in the fields and along the airstrip was a hunting American Kestrel
and numerous Killdeer seemingly excited or upset, but vocalizing profusely
either way.
