Hello all.

Counted Blackbirds this evening at the Kembo Road area of far northern AA
County, the numbers weren't great due to the wind. Found a Fox Sparrow.

Before that, I crossed over the city line to view some birds from Fort
Armistead. Armistead gives great views of Fort Carroll, which provides
excitement for upcoming spring/summer birding.

Kembo:

Great Blue Heron: 1
Double-crested Cormorant: 4
Canada Goose: 3
Mute Swan: 2
Mallard: 8
Hooded Merganser: 8
Wood Duck: 2 females
Turkey Vulture: 1
Red-tailed Hawk: 1 displaying over the old rr tracks
Sharp-shinned Hawk: 1 headed westbound
European Starling: 400+
FOX SPARROW: 1 Brush next to 1st water impoundment
Brown-headed Cowbird: 20+ Mixed with some grounded starlings
Red-winged Blackbird: 1050+ Several mid-sized flocks
Common Grackle: 1800+ Several mid-sized flocks

Ft. Armistead:

Double-crested Cormorant: 115 Roosting on Fort Carroll
Ring-billed Gull: 120 All over
Herring Gull: 35 Mostly on Carroll
Great Black-backed Gull: 30+ Ft. Carroll
