Greetings,

After two very cold hours I gave up looking for the Eurasian Wigeon in
Perryville this morning. I was delighted to find 6 Northern Pintails and a lone
drake Redhead (previously reported). However, the bonus bird of the morning
was a Cackling goose found among the hundreds of Canada Geese which were
pesent most of the morning. The bird left, unfortunately, to feed in the nearby
fields (presumably)... Is this a reviewable bird?

Coot and Tundra Swan numbers are in the thousands BTW...

Those coming to Perryville; don't be put off by the negative reports for the
EUWI today. I feel the bird is still here (call it a hunch)... Furthermore, the
creek and bay are loaded with waterfowl right now, which increases the
liklihood of other finds such as cackling, red-necked grebe, etc...

If anyone sees the EUWI please report it to the list or to me off list.

Thanks,
Chris Starling
