Hi,
Bill Hubick and I made a quick trip to Patapsco Pond #10 and Southwest Area
Park this afternoon. SWAP was especially fruitful. Bill called my attention
to a YELLOW PALM WARBLER just off the loop trail, then less than ten minutes
later following a deer path, we flushed an AMERICAN WOODCOCK. Several Snipe
launched out of the plentiful phragmites, as did a RING-NECKED PHEASANT just
before we hopped in the car to leave.
Good birding,
