As I was slowly driving up Hunting Quarter Road this afternoon, I found some
wood ducks and about 20 Norther Pintails in the flooded area on the left. The
trees blocked a direct view which is probably why the Wood ducks didn't fly
away.
This area was past the first parking spot but well before the next one that has
the kiosk.
At Hughes Hollow, among the hundreds of Ring-necked ducks you could still
spot Canvasback, Redheads and American Wigeon.
