We definitely have Black Caps out here but even still, very hard to tell the
difference. They seem quieter, definitely a bit bigger, more "elegant" (the
white nape instead of the grayish nape), and more distinct white V in the
back along the wing tips when folded. Nothing simple, though.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Black Capped Chickadee or Carolina
I have been watching the Chickadees in my yard and it seems to me that I
see some that have a rusty color on their sides. Some darker than others.
I have always thought that I only see the Carolina Chickadee, can I also see
the Black Capped Chickadee here at Prettyboy?
Does the Carolina also have the rusty color on their sides, my guide book
does
not show the color on the Carolina's side.
