Around 7 PM, birding along the stream in LFP, about halfway between Mass Ave
and McArthur Blvd, a LA Waterthrush appeared directly across the water from
me, bobbing furiously, less than 30 feet away. Ultimately, the bird worked
its way upstream and out of sight, but that took a while because it was bobbing
at least as much as it was flying.
