For anyone planning to loook for the Seaside Sparrow at Patterson Park over the weekend I should let you know that there will be a trash clean-up of the boat lake on Saturday starting at 8am. This is organized by the Friends of Patterson Park. Considering the tiny area of marsh habitat the presence of a team of people stomping around with trash bags may be too much for the Seaside Sparrow and I can imagine it may be scared off by the disturbance.
If you can I recommend you arrive by 7:30am in order to see the sparrow before the clean-up starts.
Good luck.
