A nice spring night at the North Branch brought my first BROWN
THRASHER for Allegany Co. for the year. Also, 2 BLUE-WINGED TEAL were
still present. Although not bird-related, it was nice to hear Northern
Spring Peepers in the county for the first time this year along with a
couple Pikerel Frogs.
