Dear All
I did a quick whistle down the Potomac this morning starting at Georgetown
res - where 20 or so Buffleheads and a Barn Swallow - thence doen along the
Potomac to hains Point.
best birds were a single Vesper Sparrow (feeding in the middle of the road
dodging the festival traffic), 2 Rusty Blackbirds on the Golf Course and around
70 Bonaparte's Gulls, 3 Caspian Terns and an adult female Long-tailed Duck on
the river at the point itself.
All the best
