Hey everyone-

I stopped by Cylburn today to see if there were any early migrants around, I
must have arrived just after the scheduled trip had ended. In about 30
minutes, I saw the following:

Location: Cylburn Arboretum
Observation date: 4/13/08
Number of species: 17

Cooper's Hawk 1
Mourning Dove 2
Carolina Chickadee 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
American Robin 18
Northern Mockingbird 2
Brown Thrasher 1
European Starling 3
Eastern Towhee 3
Chipping Sparrow 4
Field Sparrow 1
Song Sparrow 2
White-throated Sparrow 1
Dark-eyed Junco 2
Northern Cardinal 3
Red-winged Blackbird 1
House Finch 5

If you look at the first photo of a House Finch, you'll see that the area
between the eye and the bill is a little more crusty than usual, and that
the bird has patches of yellow on the face.

Good Birding
