Dear All

Greg Bucher and I gave the fletcher's Boat Yard area and upstream a thorough
working over this morning with a mind to Yellow-throated Warbler. After three
hours we were ultimately successful.

Birds seen were:

Bonaparte's Gull (1), Caspian tern (2), Double-crested Cormorant (40), BC
Night Heron (1), Rough wing (6), Osprey (1), Parula (12), Yellow-rumped
Warbler (20), Palm Warbler (1), Yellow-throated Warbler (1), Hermit Thrush
(1) Bluebird (1), Chimney Swift (1), Green Heron (1), Blue-winged Teal (2),
Rusty Blackbird (10), Gnatcatcher (10).

The Yellow-throated Warbler was singing and working a high tree top along
the riverside trail 100m upstream of the boatyard. It was busy chasing Yellow-
runps around and looked like it was on territory, but only sang for a few
minutes and then disappeared.

Cheers

Gary
