Marcy,

This is the active Bald Eagle nest located on the north edge of Pond #10 and near the southern bank of the Patapsco River. It was first brought to my attention back in January by Jim Peters at Ft McHenry, who said that the ranger there (Vince _____) would see it during his drive into work. The adult pair was actively tending the nest in mid February during the mid winter count, but I have not viewed it since then, other than glimpses while on trips along the BW Parkway.

It is only visible while northbound on the parkway, as one would have to turn around and look back in order to see it while traveling southbound.
