Greetings,

The following were casual observations whilst making my rounds today. I wish
I was out doing some serious birding... seems like it would have been a great
day!

Today at work I heard or saw the following migrants while driving around the
Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County.

Black Duck 6
Wood Duck 1
Great Egret 3
White-eyed Vireo 3
Prairie Warbler 3
Ovenbird 6
Common Yellowthroat 3
Yellow-rumped Warbler 30+
Tree Swallow –many
Barn Swallow –many
Chipping Sparrow –many, many
White-throated Sparrow -5

This evening I added Pine Warbler (3) to my list at the Elk Neck State Forest
in North East (Cecil County) and currently I have White-eyed Vireo, House
Wren, and Yellow-throated Warbler singing in my yard (Hances Point –Cecil
County).

Good birding,
Chris Starling
