Gail's report got the bulk of the birds, but a few more that Rob & I
saw/heard in the Maintenance Yard/Nature Center area of Rock Creek Park
today (4/26) includes:

Killdeer - 1 flew high over the M. Yard
Great Crested Flycatcher - 1 (Yard)
Eastern Kingbird - 2 (nr. Nature Center)
Tree Swallow - 2 or 3 flew high over the Yard
Hermit Thrush - 1 seen from parking lot
Yellow Warbler - 1 Yard

In addition, Rob & I went to Constitution Gardens and saw the male No.
Shoveler and the female Gadwall, along with a Horned Grebe, more Orchard
Orioles, E. Kingbirds and Yellow-rumped Warblers.

Last point, for the record, the hummingbird was behind the Nature Center,
and only Rob saw it.

Good birding,
