Hit the fields this morning (private property) and found my first GRASSHOPPER of the spring. Also had over 30 SAVANNAHS scattered around. SONG, SWAMP, FIELD, WHITE-THROAT and CHIPPING rounded out the morning.

Other birds of note were MERLIN, BANK SWALLOW and a dozen or more BOBOLINKS.

Both ORIOLES, KINGBIRD, WARBLING VIREO and BLUE-WING WARBLER were a few of the other non-sparrow highlights.
67 species for the day in a field habitat.
