This evening I stopped by PSVP - Glen Artney near Lost Lake.

At the bridge over the creek, a juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron was fishing. In the low light, I thought he was a little blue heron at first, but then saw his beak, red eyes, and spots.

His big brother (or parent) was sitting stone still on a dead tree branch in Lost Lake. (it almost looked like there were spider webs on him :-)

Other birds of note:

Yellow-Rumped Warbler
Northern Parula
Common Yellowthroat
American Redstart (Photo: http://home.comcast.net/~jennymcclintock/images/american_redstart.jpg)
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Baltimore Oriole
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue-Headed Vireo
Wood Thrush

Also, I thought I heard a Cerulean Warbler, but he didn't sing very long so I couldn't be sure.
