I was birding Pennyfield Lock (western Montgomery Co.) yesterday from 4:30 -
6:45. The first impoundment finally has some patches of water and therefore
had three SOLITARY SANDPIPERS there.

Other highlights:

INDIGO BUNTINGS
FIRST SUMMER ORCHARD ORIOLE
GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHERS - al least 8 were heard
two BARRED OWLS calling and barking at 6:30 pm - then flying away
AMERICAN BITTERN flying overhead
