So this morning after my wife left for work, she 'encouraged' me to
keep our son on his schedule of eating and sleeping at the appropriate
times. I don't argue with her, as he is sleeping from 8PM to 6:30AM
with little interruption at only 4 months old.

I digress.

A bundled up Declan, the dog and I were out back in our courtyard
(doing our best to stay awake until at least 7:30AM) watching and
listening to see what last night's migration may have delivered to our
West Annapolis home. Not much... yet.

But yesterday, we happily welcomed back the GRAY CATBIRD to our yard.
And what is most exciting about this bird's arrival... he or she is
dressed up this year.

I took a photo just a minute ago of this bird taking a drink (from the
dog's old water bowl). A cat drinking from a dog bowl... hah! I
can't make out any numbers or letters, but here you go:

I'll send it off to the lab for analysis.

And if you're interested, here is a photo of my son Declan with his dog Oiseau.

And now it's almost time for Declan's nap. In the meantime, all three
of us will be waiting for the warblers to fall out into West
Annapolis.

Good Birding,
