Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I went on the birdwalk at the Soldiers Delight Natural Environmental
Area off Liberty rd. lead by Keith Costley. I got most of the birds on the list
including 3 lifers . A Warbler , a Vireo , and a Flycatcher, although ive been on
birdwalks before where these were seen i hadnt counted them . Thanks Keith .
I decided to stop at the Visitor Center area of the park as if my legs werent
tired enough. I spent a few hours here. Birds that im not sure were on the
birdwalk were Redshoulder hawk and Orchard Oriole. I was detoured into the
trail out to the left right behind the Visitor center for a Crow mobbing . After
standing in the grass for a few minutes 3 Red tailed Hawks flew out of the
wooded area. After the excitement i checked my clothes for ticks and I had
Deer ticks , Dog ticks , big ticks little ticks , red ticks , blue ticks, OHHHH no
thats the Dr. suess book . Anyway just want to let anyone going in this area
to be aware. It was a large open field with a grassy trail. Good day Nice
people.
