Hi everyone,

On the way to Little Bennett Regional Park (upper
Montgomery County) this morning, I heard an Eastern

Highlights of a walk at Little Bennett are as follows:

Louisiana Waterthrush (3)
Black-throated Blue Warbler (3)
Black-and-white Warbler (2)
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle) (1)
Magnolia Warbler (1 - heard only)
Common Yellowthroat (5+)

Baltimore Oriole (1)
Yellow-throated Vireo (1)
Red-eyed Vireo (2)
Scarlet Tanager (3)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (10+; one pair building a nest)
Gray Catbird (5+)
Eastern Towhee (5+)
White-throated Sparrow (2)
Downy Woodpecker (2, a pair)
White-breasted Nuthatch (1)

... and the usuals (Northern Cardinal, Tufted
Titmouse, Carolina Chickadee, Song Sparrow, American
Crow, Blue Jay)
