We took a leisurely walk around Little Falls Parkway in Bethesda this
morning, not starting until 8 a.m., so we probably missed a few things.

Warblers seen and/or heard included BLACK-THROATED BLUE (3),
OVENBIRD, AMERICAN REDSTART, NORTHERN PARULA (3 or 4), COMMON
YELLOWTHROAT, YELLOW-RUMPED (many) and NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, singing
loudly in the small section of stream that is not channelized -- and
where we have found one at this stage of migration almost every year
we've visited this small park. Gray Catbirds are back in the park in
force and we heard 2 ACADIAN FLYCATCHERS.

Good Birding
