My son Nathaniel Peters is finishing his externship at the NIH and
will be leaving DC later this summer to head off to graduate school.
Nate is an experienced birder who has never seen the following
possible DC area migratory birds:
Least Flycatcher, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Philadelphia Vireo,
Black-billed Cuckoo, Clay-colored Sparrow, and Mourning Warbler.
I am writing to see if anyone might be willing to show him a few good
spots over the next week or so where he might have a chance to see
some of these species. Nate lives near the National Cathedral; he
would reimburse for gas expenses.
If you might be interested in providing transportation for my son,
please let me know. I would be most grateful.
Many thanks from his dad,
Jim Peters |
