I did some fast birding in Dor/Car/Tal Counties this afternoon. Here are some highlights

Johnson Road -- eastern Dorchester County

Solitary Sandpipers -- 3
Red-shouldered Hawks -- 2

Puckham Road -- Eastern Dorchester County

Yellow-throated Vireo (a much desired county bird) -- 1
Louisiana Waterthrush -- 2
Summer Tanager -- 3

North Tara Road -- eastern Dorchester County

Summer Tanagers -- 12

Idylwild WMA (Little Philadelphia area) -- Caroline County

Summer Tanagers -- 5
Yellow-breasteed Chat -- 2
Kentucky Warbler -- 1

Dover Road -- Talbot County

In a small puddle just east of Dover Bridge there were 57 Semipalmated Plovers along with two Semipalmated Sandpipers.

As a side note, I finished posting my photos from the vacation to Oaxaca, Mexico that Bill Hubick and myself (along with girlfriends) took in March. Lots of habitat and bug shots for those interested.
